Glo yesterday unveiled the host and judges for X-factor Africa.
Toolz as host, M.I, Onyeka Onwenu and Ghanaian rapper Reggie
Rockstone as judges. Two rappers and a singer. Who likes the
combination? Love that Onyeka Onwenu and M.I are there but
another singer would have been more appropriate...or what do
you guys think?
Meanwhile a 68 year old grandma, Mrs Evelyn D. Lawson, from
Bogeme in Rivers State, auditioned yesterday. See her photo
after the cut...
Mrs Lawson came to the stage as the third contestant. The
elderly woman who was supported by her two sons wonderfully
sang the ‘Glory be to God’ song and got three “yeses” to go
through to the next round. The judges and the audience were
impressed with her performance and her courage to still sing at
the age of 68.
